Frontman Joshua Todd expresses love for his woman ("Carousel"), thanking her for faithfulness and holding him accountable for his behavior ("Out of Line," "Onset"). On the disc's lone ballad, he wants to atone for transgressions ("Sorry").
Frustrated, the singer pleads for some bedroom lovin' from a girl whose parents disapprove of him ("Sunshine") and suggests that spending money on a date entitles a guy to sex ("Next 2 You"). "So Far" is a profane defense of a hedonistic rock star ethos ("I did it to fill the f---ing hole inside of me"). A quest for sex in "Brooklyn" ends with the rocker unconscious and his credit cards maxed out, though he's ready to do it all again with a groupie in Detroit. Life's evil torments burst forth in the line "Pornograph's (sic) all I got for a bedroom/Sickened, broken, blood shed, murder your children" ("Broken Glass"). The foul, misogynistic "Crazy B--ch" uses the f-word while concluding that wild sex makes up for a partner's shortcomings. A companion DVD shows scantily clad women in music videos.
Don't be deceived by the hit single. Buckcherry's MO is coarse language and randy sexuality. One reviewer said, "'Crazy B--ch' provides the best hook on the album, begging for heavy strip club rotation, which it will most likely receive for years." Talk about sorry.
